Preparing for the New Year

The Federal Reserve increased the benchmark interest rate by another 50 basis points. AgCountry Farm Credit Services Vice President of Marketing Education Rob Fronning says young and beginning farmers have not seen anything, but near-zero interest rates, while others have been through this cycle before. As the end of the year approaches, Fronning emphasizes the importance of a marketing plan. “Volatility creates volatility and we’ll have more of it going forward,” said Fronning.
